How it started
One hired car, one phone number, and a lot of unpaid advice.
Wonder Pro started in 2017 in a room above a houseboat workshop on the Boulevard, with a single hired car and a phone that rang mostly with questions nobody was paying us to answer.
The questions were always the same ones. When does the tulip garden actually open. Is Gulmarg worth it in June. Will my mother manage Khardung La. We answered them straight, including the times the straight answer was “not this month” — and people booked anyway, then sent their cousins.
That is still the whole business. We don’t operate outside Kashmir, Ladakh and Jammu and we have no plans to. Eight years on the same roads is worth more to you than eight countries on a brochure.
“If we can’t do it properly in these three regions, we don’t sell it.”

2017
One car, one room
Registered in Srinagar and ran 40 trips in the first season, mostly for friends of friends.
2019
Over the pass
Opened Ladakh operations with a seasonal desk in Leh, and started running the full Srinagar–Leh road trip.
2021
The quiet years
Two seasons with almost no visitors. We kept every driver on retainer, which is the decision this company is built on.
2023
Our own fleet
Stopped brokering vehicles and bought them, so the standard of the car stopped being someone else’s problem.
2026
Still only three regions
Ten thousand travellers later, the map on the office wall hasn’t grown. That’s deliberate.
